But, hey, we're up for the challenge, right? What's a story without metaphors?

By now it's probably obvious: this week's writing prompts are all metaphors. Hopefully one of them will inspire you to pick up your pen and get writing faster than a speeding bullet:

1.      Write a story based on the metaphor:
"Beauty is a fading flower."
